CBSE 12th 10th result 2017 (Class X board) declared: Check CBSE exam results at cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in. CBSE class 10 results 2017 were released today at 2 pm, only for millions of students from across the country to face a frustrating time on the CBSE websites. The candidates are checking their results on cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in.

3) Check the result
4) Students are advised to take a print out or save a copy for further use.
According to a CBSE circular released earlier this year, a total of 13,73,853 students were appearing for the class 10 board examination and 10,40,368 students for the class 12 board exam.
CBSE in its circular also mentioned that there had been a hike of 3.37 percent in the number of students appearing for the class 10 board review and 1.01 percent hike in the number of students appearing for the class 12th board exam.
As a result of the reconstitution, the ‘CBSE Board of Secondary Education’ (CBSE) was merged with the Central Board and from 309 schools in 1962, Centeral Board of Secondary Education today has 16000 schools (as on 15.09.2014) including 197 schools in 23 countries.

About Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE):
The Central Board of Secondary education was formed on November 3, 1952. The CBSE or Delhi board conducts the Class 10 (X) and Class 12 (XII) examinations every year in the month of March. The board also conducts AIEEE entrance exam & AIPMT (CBSE Board of Secondary Education) annually every year. The AIEEE is one of the type of Engineering Exam, and entrance examination is for admission in engineering and architecture undergraduate courses in India & AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) entrance examination is for admission in major medical colleges in India.
The CBSE board used to conduct X and XII exams every year in the Month of March. In a similar manner CBSE board has done 2017 examination in the month of March from 2nd March 2017 to 26th March 2017. Every year, lakhs of candidates appears for the CBSE Examination. This year, 13, 73,853 students appeared for Class 12th X Board Exam 2017 out of which 8, 17,941 were boys and 5,55,912 girls.
Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) Board Results 2017:
Earlier, no official date for the declaration of CBSE board result 2017 was announced. Thus, the assumption over the CBSE class 12th and 12thresult 2017 date were high. However, now it is being said, that CBSE class 12th X Results 2017 will be out in few days.
Previously the CBSE board used to give scores in one hundredth i.e. percentages. However, since the last few years, there is the alteration in the marking scheme. The CBSE (CBSE Board of Secondary Education) authority has introduced grading structure as an alternative of giving marks in percentages. Students who get fewer score can re-appear for the improvement examination in the month of July every year.
Last year, the CBSE Board of Secondary Education class 10thresult was declared in phases i.e. May 19: Chennai and Trivandrum, May 20: Other regions i.e. Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneshwar, Panchkula, Patna, Guwahati, Delhi and Dehradun.
It is expected, that this year also the CBSE (CBSE Board of Secondary Education) Class 12th Results 2017 will be announced regions wise. Students can check or download their results on official website http://cbse.nic.in/ and http://cbseresults.nic.in/.
Steps to be followed to check result:
- log on to any one of the websites at http://cbse.nic.in to access their result.
- Students will need to submit their roll number and date of birth on the results page to obtain their performance.
- They can take a print-out of the result for future reference.
